Cooking Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat your grill or broiler. Thinly slice the lamb or beef and season it with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Brush each side of the pita bread with olive oil.
Step 2: Place the seasoned meat on the grill or broiler and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until it is cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the meat from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
Step 3: While the meat is resting, prepare the tomato sauce. Dice the tomatoes and finely chop the onion. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the onion until it becomes translucent. Add the diced tomatoes to the pan and cook until they start to soften. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Step 4: In a separate small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, set it aside.
Step 5: Slice the grilled meat into thin strips. Place a piece of pita bread on each serving plate and arrange the meat strips on top. Pour the tomato sauce over the meat and then drizzle the melted butter on top. Garnish with yogurt and serve with grilled vegetables on the side.
