Japchae is a popular Korean dish made from sweet potato noodles stir-fried with various vegetables and meat. It is a flavorful and hearty dish that is typically served as a main course or side dish.
|Sweet potato noodles||200g|
|Soy sauce||4 tablespoons|
|Sesame oil||2 tablespoons|
|Sesame seeds||1 tablespoon|
- Step 1: Cook the sweet potato noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
- Step 2: In a pan, heat some sesame oil and cook the beef until browned. Set aside.
- Step 3: In the same pan, sauté the garlic, onion, carrot, and mushrooms until softened.
- Step 4: Add the cooked noodles and spinach to the pan. Cook for a few minutes until the spinach wilts.
- Step 5: Add the cooked beef back to the pan and mix well.
- Step 6: In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the noodles and mix until well coated.
- Step 7: Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve hot or cold.
