Ingredient Quantity
Pork tenderloin 1 lb
Mushrooms 8 oz
Pasta (such as fettuccine or penne) 8 oz
Butter 2 tbsp
Garlic 4 cloves
Heavy cream 1 cup
Parmesan cheese (grated) 1/2 cup
Fresh parsley 1/4 cup

Cooking Instructions:

  • Step 1: Start by preparing the ingredients. Slice the pork tenderloin into thin strips and set aside. Clean and slice the mushrooms and mince the garlic. Chop the fresh parsley and set aside as well. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Step 2: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter. Once the butter has melted, add the pork slices and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side until the pork is lightly browned and cooked through. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.
  • Step 3: In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and browned. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine with the mushrooms.
  • Step 4: Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well to combine and allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and incorporated into the sauce.
  • Step 5: Return the cooked pork slices to the skillet and toss with the pasta and sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and black pepper if needed.
