Romaine Lettuce 1 head
Cucumbers 2
Tomatoes 2
Green Bell Pepper 1
Red Onion 1
Radishes 4
Pita Bread 2
Lemon Juice 1/4 cup
Olive Oil 1/4 cup
Mint Leaves 1/4 cup
Parsley 1/4 cup
Sumac 1 teaspoon
Salt To taste

Cooking Instructions:

  • Step 1: Wash and chop the romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, green bell pepper, red onion, and radishes.
  • Step 2: In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped vegetables.
  • Step 3: Cut the pita bread into small pieces and toast them in a toaster or oven until crispy.
  • Step 4: Add the toasted pita bread to the salad bowl.
  • Step 5: In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, mint leaves, and parsley.
  • Step 6: Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well to combine.
  • Step 7: Sprinkle sumac and salt over the salad and toss again.
  • Step 8: Serve the fattoush salad immediately and enjoy!
