Ingredients:

Penne Pasta 8 oz
Olive Oil 2 tbsp
Garlic (minced) 2 cloves
Onion (chopped) 1/2 cup
Canned Crushed Tomatoes 1 cup
Heavy Cream 1/2 cup
Vodka 1/4 cup
Crushed Red Pepper Flakes 1/2 tsp
Salt To taste
Black Pepper To taste
Fresh Basil (chopped) For garnish

Cooking Instructions:

  • Step 1: Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Step 2: In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion. Saute until the onion is translucent.
  • Step 3: Add the crushed tomatoes and cook for about 5 minutes, until the sauce starts to thicken.
  • Step 4: Stir in the heavy cream and vodka. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 7: Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the pasta is heated through.
  • Step 8: Serve the Penne alla Vodka garnished with fresh basil.
