About Mac and Cheese

- Slowly pour in the milk while whisking continuously to create a smooth mixture.
- Continue whisking until the sauce thickens, usually takes about 5 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat.
- Add shredded cheese to the saucepan with the thickened sauce.
- Stir until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni pasta to the cheese sauce.
- Gently mix everything together until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Transfer the mac and cheese mixture to a baking dish.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the mixture for a crispy crust (optional).
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Serve the mac and cheese while it's still hot.
